What this means

Norvon builds, hosts and maintains WordPress and WooCommerce sites, so clients ask us constantly which host to use, which plugin solves a problem, and which service to buy. When we answer, the link we give you may be an affiliate link — meaning the vendor pays us a referral fee if you go on to buy.

You pay the same price either way. Affiliate commissions come out of the vendor's margin, not out of your pocket, and in some cases an affiliate link comes with a discount you wouldn't otherwise get.

Programs we may participate in

We may earn commissions from companies in the WordPress and web hosting ecosystem, including:

• Web hosting and managed WordPress hosting providers
• Premium WordPress themes, plugins and page builders
• WooCommerce extensions and payment or booking tools
• Performance, security, backup and CDN services
• Developer and marketing SaaS products we use ourselves

How we choose what to recommend

Recommendations come from the work, not the commission. A tool gets recommended because we have used it on real client projects and it held up — for performance, security, support quality and total cost of ownership.

• We recommend the option that fits your project, not the one that pays most
• We will tell you when a free or cheaper alternative is the better fit
• We will tell you the trade-offs, including where a product is weak
• If a product stops being good, we stop recommending it

Our services are separate

Our own fees — Custom Builds and the WordPress Care & Managed Support plan — are published on our pricing section and are entirely separate from any affiliate income. Whether you buy hosting through our link or bring your own has no effect on what we charge you or how we work.

You always own your accounts. We set up hosting, domains and third-party services in your name so you can move, cancel or switch provider at any time without asking us.

Sponsored content

If we ever publish content that a vendor paid for, it will be labelled as sponsored on the page itself. Sponsorship never buys a positive review.

Norvon is an independent agency. WordPress, WooCommerce and other product names on this site are trademarks of their respective owners, and their use here describes our capabilities and services — it does not imply affiliation with, sponsorship by, or endorsement from those companies.
